By accessing or using Vocairo ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Material changes will be communicated before they apply. Accepting these Terms does not constitute consent to optional analytics or marketing.
2. Description of Service
Vocairo is an AI-powered English language learning platform offering exercises, an AI tutor, dictionary, grammar reference, and progress tracking. The Service is provided on a freemium basis with optional paid subscriptions for additional features.
3. Account Registration
- You must provide accurate and complete registration information
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- One person may not maintain more than one account
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its servers
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service
- Share your account credentials with others
- Upload or transmit malicious code or content
- Abuse the AI Tutor by attempting to generate harmful or inappropriate content
5. Subscriptions and Payments
- Available features, limits, price, currency and billing period are shown before you subscribe
- Web subscriptions are processed through Stripe according to the terms shown at checkout
- You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period
- Contact support with your payment reference to request cancellation, withdrawal or a refund. Mandatory consumer rights apply, including any applicable withdrawal period and remedies for a faulty digital service
- Purchases through an app store, where offered, are also subject to that store's billing and refund process
- Any change to recurring pricing will be communicated before it applies, with an opportunity to cancel
6. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content (excluding user-generated content) are owned by Vocairo and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
- You retain your rights in content you submit and must have permission to use imported materials
- You permit us and the providers needed for your request to host, process, display and translate your content to deliver the learning features you use. This permission does not grant a general right to train AI models on your content
- AI-generated content (tutor responses, exercise feedback) is provided as-is
- You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works of our content without permission
7. AI Tutor Disclaimer
The AI Tutor provides language learning assistance using artificial intelligence. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated responses may contain errors. The AI Tutor is not a substitute for professional language instruction. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content.
8. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.
9. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vocairo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Termination
Access may be restricted to address a material breach of these Terms, unlawful use or a security threat. Where permitted and practical, we will explain the reason and how to contact support for review. Urgent restrictions may be necessary to protect the service or other people. You may stop using the service and request account deletion. A restriction does not remove applicable rights to your data or any refund required by law.
11. Applicable Rights and Disputes
Please contact support first so we can try to resolve a concern. These Terms do not remove protections under the mandatory law applicable to you or your right to bring a claim before a competent court or authority. No exclusive country or court is designated by this clause.
